Welcome to Tile Pulse. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information transparently.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: automatically and when you choose to provide it.

Automatically collected

• Device identifiers — used by Google AdMob to serve relevant ads (see section 2)
• IP address — used by AdMob for general geographic ad targeting
• Device type and OS version — used to ensure the game functions correctly
• Gameplay data — levels cleared, completion times, scores — used for the leaderboard and to improve difficulty balance

Provided by you (optional)

• Username — chosen by you if you create a leaderboard account
• Email address — used only for account sign-in and password recovery

Creating an account is entirely optional. You can play all 8 levels without signing in.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob) Important

Tile Pulse uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, including:

• Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS)
• IP address and coarse location
• Device information (model, OS version)
• In-app interaction data

⚠️ iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) On iOS 14 and later, we request your permission before allowing AdMob to access your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for personalized ads. If you decline, you will still see ads — they will just be less personalized. You can change this preference at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Google AdMob’s data practices are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

3. Leaderboard & Account

Tile Pulse offers an optional global leaderboard powered by Supabase (supabase.com), a secure cloud database provider.

If you choose to create an account:

• Your email address is stored securely and used only for authentication
• Your chosen username and scores are stored and displayed publicly on the leaderboard
• We do not share your email address with other players or third parties
• You can delete your account at any time by contacting us (see section 10)

✅ Playing without an account You can play all 8 levels without creating an account. No email or personal information is required to enjoy the full game. Only the leaderboard feature requires sign-in.

4. Children’s Privacy

Tile Pulse is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country).

The leaderboard sign-in feature requires an email address. If you are under 13, please do not create an account without parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

Regarding advertising: AdMob may serve ads to all users. We do not use child-directed ad settings that would restrict ad targeting, as the game is rated for all ages and not specifically directed at children under 13.

5. Data Retention

• Leaderboard scores and username — retained until you delete your account
• Email address — retained until you delete your account
• Ad-related data — managed by Google AdMob per their retention policies
• Cached game data — stored locally on your device; cleared when you uninstall the app

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Right of access — request a copy of data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data
• Right to restrict processing — limit how we use your data

• Right to know — what personal information we collect and why
• Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information
• Right to opt out — we do not sell personal information
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights

7. Third-Party Services

Tile Pulse integrates the following third-party services:

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties. We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

• All data transmitted between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
• Our backend (Supabase) uses row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data
• We do not store payment information — Tile Pulse is free with no in-app purchases

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the «Last updated» date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you within the app.

Continued use of Tile Pulse after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
